Projects
New Tools for Health involves cooperation among people with sound knowledge of needs and future markets, researcher and the business sector. This is our greatest strength. We bring together people with demands, problem-solvers and individuals who are good at commercialising ideas. This way, we support the whole process from needs to ideas, development and commercialisation until the finished products and services reach the market.

Our projects seek, in particular, to:

  • Support needs-driven research in home-based healthcare and community care
  • Stimulate and refine ideas through close cooperation between healthcare and community care, the business sector and research
  • Create innovative encounters between care providers with knowledge of future challenges, researchers with the ability to devise solutions and businesses that can commercialise them
  • Capture solutions to common problems in healthcare and community care from people who are confronted with them every day.

One key objective that permeates our projects is that they should create new products and services in strong companies that are ready for the world market.

Our role in the projects
One major advantage of our projects is that they have many participants from different sectors. Our task is to manage the projects and coordinate the efforts of the various stakeholders so that everything flows smoothly. We provide help mainly in the form of key contacts between the project participants, and give them up-to-date market briefings, but in some situations we may also contribute limited funding.
