Research is a key factor in New Tools for Health’s success. Our aim is for our research projects to be springboards for new products, services and enterprises that can hold their own on the world market. So we run the projects in close cooperation with the business sector, healthcare and community care services.
Our application-oriented research is based, above all, on four fields:
- Sensor technology
- Medical measuring technology
- IT and communications
- Logistics
To foster new products and services, we reinforce these fields with research on market mechanisms and needs, ethics and integrity — on elderly people’s preferences, for example.
